Executive Assistant - Mayor

About the role

This role provides high-level, executive support to the Mayor and Councillors, contributing to the smooth and professional operation of the Mayor's Office. As part of the Office of the General Manager, you'll work within a dynamic leadership environment focused on strategic governance, financial sustainability and delivering meaningful outcomes for the Coffs Harbour community. Collaboration, discretion, confidentiality, and a commitment to excellence are key as you help uphold the City's values and support its vision for growth and innovation.

About you

You're an experienced professional in executive level support, with strong technical proficiency and a keen eye for detail. Your excellent communication and interpersonal abilities allow you to manage relationships and sensitive matters with confidence and discretion. You perform well under pressure, juggling competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service. With a proactive and adaptable mindset, you approach challenges with clarity and contribute meaningfully to team outcomes.

What's on offer?

  • Starting salary around $87,213 + 12% superannuation (based on experience).

  • Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week.
